MEWP Operator Training is a training class that applies to persons engaged in the design, maintenance, use and operation of MEWPs (Mobile Elevating Work Platform), formerly known as AWP Aerial Work Platforms.
This includes scissor lifts, boom lifts, manual lifts and various types of trailer-mounted lift devices. Trainees are provided with the knowledge and skills to demonstrate the safe operation of the equipment addressed.
Each Trainee will receive in-depth instruction on applicable regulations and safe operation as well as extensive hands-on exercises. Each trainee’s knowledge and skill level is evaluated and only those able to demonstrate an acceptable level of operational competence receive documentation of successful program completion.
